During the winter this wee ground floor apartment is to undergo a major refurbishment, at the end of which it will have been turned round about.

Our idea is to focus the living area on the sunny patio which faces south . Internally we are engaging with professional designers to to create a one-bedroom studio enlivened by contemporary art and modern furnishings.

You will enter from the Patio through new French doors into a sitting room with dining area and open access to a revamped kitchen. The new bedroom will have access to an enlarged en-suite bathroom.

Plans have yet to be finalised, never mind approved, so we'll say no more about it for now, but watch this space!

From the beginning of 2009 Scribbles will be available for Friday to Friday bookings, which will allow us to offer Friday to Monday weekend breaks in the winter months.
